Thursday, October 25th, 2007

Commercial fisher license training is required for new and returning fishers in Queensland. The requirements of the Queensland Fisheries Service ensure that all new and returning commercial fishers have a minimum standard of awareness of endangered and protected species, and environmental issues. The Aboard Training Australia course is based on modules developed by the Queensland fishing industry, in consultation with the Queensland Fisheries Service and Seafood Training Queensland. Any Commercial fisher seeking a license or renewal of a lapsed license can access this training regardless of where they live. Aboard Training has commercial fisher license training happening in all Australian states, and currently, in the U.K. for an expat seeking to return to the Australian fishing industry.
