(Option 2)Pre-requisite: Master5/Skipper 3 with MED 3 or 2This recognition program is suitable for existing fishing business owners, skippers, leading personnel and key workers already holding a current Master 5 /Skipper 3, and is seeking recognition leading to qualification commensurate with work roles in either-Managing fishing business operations, maintaining operations and supporting fishing operations, administration of fishing business operations industry advocacy at MACs, boards and /or frontline corporate and association management.The following rules apply when selecting units for this qualification:21 unitsmade up of 4 core unitsplus 4 fishing specialist unitsplus 13 elective units.The elective units must be selected from a combination of:• Group B fishing specialist units not yet selected for this qualification offer• Group E elective units offered• Certificate III in Seafood Industry (Fishing Operations) – maximum of 1 unit• Diploma of Seafood Industry (Fishing Operations) – maximum of 1 unit• Certificate IV in Seafood Industry (Fishing Charter Operations) – maximum of 1 unit• Certificate IV level or higher, from this or any other Training Package – maximum of 2 units. Units must be relevant to workplace needs. Care should be taken in selecting elective units to ensure any prerequisite or corequisite requirements are met. Refer to Part B: Qualifications Framework.
